My theatre-going buddy and I go to the teatre from time to time. Marcela was unmoved by "The Marriage of Figaro" but this was great fun. It was a mix of some Disney stuff, and a lot of ballet and some purely Colombian jokes.
The ballet was wonderful, and sometimes the audience applauded spontaneously. Again the cast was very young, one of the groups of dancers was 12 - 15 years old. Even the bad vizier did a dance. He stopped suddenly breathing hard and said "es tremendo eso de ballet" which brought a laugh, then went on with his evil dialogue about killing Aladdin--
The genie said things like they would travel by 'trans-mil-genio" Alladin says "Genio, eres un genio!"
