Here in Colombia the fiscal year is the same as the calendar year
, and everything is winding up. The FAC (Colombian Air Force had its anniversary and we went with some other "functionaries" to the ceremony. President Uribe is an eloquent speaker. (see how close we were sitting?)I respect the tremendous effort he is making in the government transparency, human rights and security. Indeed, Colombia is a different country than it was in 2001. His administration should be measured in "dog years" because they work day and night.
