We always do a big Thanksgiving with a lot of people invited
It gets bigger every year
Last year we had 40 people, I made 3 turkeys, 20 kilos of mashed potatoes, 10 pies, homemade rolls,
the pumpkin dessert I always make...etc.
We never use anything paper except napkins.
Took 2 days to clean up.
At the end of the day I said "Never again!"
But
Your dad loves to entertain
And we made a deal.
This year there were 30 people
2 turkeys and 10 kilos of mashed potatoes.
People brought a lot of things to help out including the third turkey and some ham
and Edith is una maravilla.
We were fine.
I had time to eat and visit.
Dinner was pleasant
we sent plates down to porteros and drivers,
the guests behaved, and I invited some of MY friends too.
