I forgot to tell you that we went to Ottawa May 24th long weekend and stayed with the Canadian SICOFAA representative for a few days.
I'd never been that far east in Canada and thought the country was beautiful. We caught the very end of the tulip festival and had the most wonderful weather.
We
saw the parliament buildings (the tour was very friendly it felt almost "homey" compared to the rushing pace in the equivalent american tour)We saw a lot of monuments, spent all day dowtown eating and listening to buskers and looking at the river. We also spent all day at the Museum of Civilization.
Kris loved driving on their highways--he said it felt like utopia. (he's still traumatized by driving in Caracas and Bogota.
....When we think of retiring (it's getting time to think about that) and getting a job back in Latin America, he says he will insist on a driver as part of his contract.
