That's what it cost the Skinners to
stay one night in the centre of New York City,
ride the ferry to spend an afternoon on Liberty Island,
see a Broadway Show "Memphis" ,
Go to the top of The
and Eat Lunch on Times Square.
We also had that much fun.
We stayed one night
at a tiny hotel that was built into existing buildings
from the last century, I think,
with nothing but a door showing on the sidewalk
red walls in the rooms,
But very nice management and close enough to walk
everywhere.
We thought Times Square looked like Las-Vegas-on-steroids
(Las Vegas before the economic crash, that is)
