My rule has always to never be a bore with
pictures. You know how people pull out a big book or stack
of pictures and you sit for ages looking:
"and here's where we saw a monument" they say,
"and here's where we visited a person you don't know"
So you just get two pictures
sometimes 3.
We spent a week in Winnipeg for Kris' conference.
It was wonderful weather so we really appreciated the
beautiful parks and the zoo. The conference activities kept us
busy at parks, historical sites and too many restaurants.
Michael loved the gift of "Winnipeg Jets" football team hat.
So much, in fact, that he forgot to take it off in the Officer's Mess and even the Manitoba legislature building. .. oh well, he still has 8 years to figure this all out.
He asked if he could be a Jets fan since he doesn't live in Winnipeg.
He was reminded that he doesn't live in Miami
and loves the "Miami Heat."
"good point" he said.
